Deep.zip operates entirely within your browser environment. All processing of "Deep Research" results happens locally between your browser and the Google Gemini interface.

• Research Content: The extension reads the content of the currently active Gemini Deep Research tab to generate summaries. This data is processed in real-time and is not stored permanently or sent to us.
• Local Storage: We use the local storage API (chrome.storage.local) solely to save your temporary preferences (e.g., UI settings) or the most recent summary for your convenience. This data never leaves your device.

2. Permissions

We request the minimum permissions necessary for the extension to function:

• activeTab: To access the content of the Google Gemini tab you are currently viewing, solely to extract text for summarization.
• sidePanel: To display the summary interface alongside your content.
• storage: To save your local preferences.
• Host Permissions (https://gemini.google.com/*): To enable functionality specifically on the Google Gemini website.

3. Third-Party Services

Deep.zip interacts with:

• Google Gemini: The extension functions as a utility on top of the Google Gemini website. We are not affiliated with Google. Your usage of Google Gemini is subject to Google's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
